Too much going on!

Well - I did it again! I have not been here for another month! Sorry about that.
So much is going on here at our little piece of the rock. It is just about a month ago that I got a job!! A JOB. I never thought I would say that again. I have not worked since 2000 and I was perfectly happy with that. One day I just decided to get a job. I went to Borders, Barnes & Noble, and Target to apply for this little gig. The book stores didn't hire me so I hounded Target for an interview. I went in one day and, sure enough, was hired on the spot. It is really nice because Northeast Ohio has alot of folks looking for work right now.
Anyway - I am now an employee. I love it! At first I thought I had lost my fricking mind but it is working out quite well.
Let's see... I want a puppy. Talk about "hounding". I have been hounding Ralphy for about 6 weeks for a pup. I think I have mentioned it before but what I want is a longhaired mini Dachshund. Black, I think. Just a tiny one. I was talking to one of my customers at the store who had a purse with all little Dachshunds on it. She also had a really cute keychain shaped like the dog. Well - she has one that is about 8 months old. Her name is April. I could hardly stand still during the conversation. I am just tickled to even think about have a puppy. I love their hot puppy breath and smelling the top of their heads. Also, just holding that warm little body.
GEEZ - get a grip, Grandma!! Ralphy is going to wonder why I don't talk about him that way!
We are trying to figure out when we are going to get this Christmas stuff together. We have gifts to mail to Atlanta to our son - the doctor who never calls his mother - and his family. Then, we are going to Miss Aunt Sue's to spend a long weekend with her and our beautiful daughter and her kids. I was quite nervy in asking Miss Aunt Sue if we could all meet at her house for our Christmas celebration and use all her good stuff. She has the most beautiful Spode dishes and gorgeous serving pieces and a very lovely home and I just figured that we might as well use her stuff. And - to top it off - we are all sleeping at her house! Some nerve, huh?
Lastly, we just returned from our usual winter getaway to Cook Forest, Pennsylvania. We are in love with the place and return often. I was all geared for a fab weekend until I opened my cosmetic bag and found that I had forgotten my tweezers *&^%#()@#. You all know about my facial hair dilemma. Does anyone have any suggestions other that a can of Gillette? I am not kidding. I am going bald, I have no hair under my arms, no eyebrows, yet I can grow a fricking full beard within two days. Please! Someone put me out of my misery.
Love
